Built by operators.
For operators.
We know this industry from the inside — and we know exactly where the leverage is hiding.
Where
Bayswater
comes from
Bayswater Consulting Group was founded by a staffing industry veteran with twenty years of operational and leadership experience — across business development, sales management, recruiting, and firm operations. Not as an observer of this industry. As someone who has lived inside it at every level.
The firms that struggle most aren’t struggling because they lack talented people or genuine ambition. They’re struggling because growth has exposed the gaps — in their sales process, in their team’s capabilities, or in the operational infrastructure holding everything together. Those are exactly the problems Bayswater was built to solve.
“We started Bayswater because the consulting support available to staffing firms was either too generic to be useful or too expensive to be accessible. There’s a better way to do this.”
We work with a deliberately small number of clients at a time. Not because we can’t take on more — but because the work we do requires genuine attention, real accountability, and the kind of direct access that gets diluted when a firm tries to serve too many clients at once.
Every engagement is different. Every firm has its own history, its own culture, and its own version of the problem. What doesn’t change is our commitment to being direct, doing the work, and delivering outcomes that actually move the business forward.

guide every engagement
What makes this
different
We’ve done this work ourselves
Twenty years of operational and leadership experience in the staffing industry means we’re not theorizing about what works. We’ve built sales teams, managed recruiters, developed BD strategy, and run the P&L. That experience informs everything we do with clients.
We specialize in one industry
Bayswater works exclusively with staffing and recruiting firms. We don’t consult across industries and adapt generic frameworks to your situation. We know this world specifically — and that specificity is the difference between advice that sounds right and advice that actually works.
We keep our client base small intentionally
The decision to work with a limited number of clients at any given time is deliberate. It means every client gets real access, real attention, and real accountability — not a junior consultant working from a template while the senior partner shows up for quarterly reviews.
We’re measured by what changes, not what we deliver
A consulting engagement that produces a polished strategy document and no behavioral change is a failed engagement — regardless of how good the document looks. We stay close to implementation because that’s where the real work happens.
We tell you what we think
The most valuable thing a consultant can offer is an honest outside perspective — including when that perspective is uncomfortable. We don’t soften assessments to protect the relationship. We believe the relationship is strengthened by directness, not threatened by it.
What you can
expect from us
Every engagement starts with a genuine effort to understand your business — not just the surface-level symptoms, but the underlying dynamics that are producing them. We ask hard questions before we offer any answers.
We work on a retainer basis with a defined scope and clear deliverables. You’ll always know what we’re working on, why we’re working on it, and what success looks like. No surprises, no scope creep, no billing for conversations that should be free.
And when the engagement is over, we stay in touch. The firms we work with become part of a network we care about — and we’re genuinely invested in their continued success long after the formal engagement ends.
